New prototype required more money and crowdfunding was the best answer. Market testing, fundraising as well as product retuning. All in One. Don’t be shy to do more than once your crowdfunding.

Personal Experience: crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo that raised 700,000$. Government grants for more 100,000$. Start to finish crowdfunding management included VI, customer service and order fulfillment.


Business Units Development

One hit wonders don’t last long and customers are spoiled for choices.

Ideation and expansion of a product a/o service line require a deep understanding of what the present clientele require. In the past year I identified the untapped services that one could offer within the same product line, as well as the complimentary products and services required, whilst being coherent to the company’s brand identity.

While managing Acorn Studio I had the privilege to expand our services to include concept space design, interior art renovation, visual installment design.

Sunny Hill: ideation and curated the visual installment of their one month long event.
Mitsubishi Estate Group: ideation, feasibility testing for a custom made order.
Oyster Bar in Nagoya: concept space assistance.


In Between Funding rounds

It’s always hard to hear no but there are more than one road to the destination.
When the slow seasons hit and fund raising rounds were closed I set out ways to raise out more money via government funds and grants. Trade fairs, events, fashion shows, shop-in shop promotions as well as cultural initiatives are the fundaments to giving an extra push to the oxygen tank of your startup.

Personal Experience: Obtained 2 international trade fair grant as well as government fund for start up entrepreneurship. Fashion shows sponsorship as well events that I curated.

Have a financial controller, have reasonable budgets to identify where are the sinkholes.

Personal Experience: Sales analysis, sales and financial projection, and rendered the company financially solvent, growth rate 450%, in the first year, digital direct sales asserting as high as 40% of total revenue after implementation.
